Albert John Ferry, Jr., age 89, died Thursday, August 14, 2025 in ECU Health Duplin Hospital in Kenansville, NC. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Louise Jones Velk of Pink Hill; three sons, William “Bill” Robert Ferry of Pink Hill, James Lee Ferry of New Bern, Katsuhiro Miyara of CA; fifteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

She is survived by her husband Bill Fiedler of Chinquapin; daughters, Betsy Fiedler of Chinquapin, Lenore Fiedler of Chinquapin; sons, Larry Fiedler and wife Adrienne of Chinquapin, Andy Fiedler and wife Laura of CT; brother, Walter Koch, Jr of NY; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren and her beloved dog Socks.

She is preceded in death by her husband Rolin James Thomas; parents Leon and Dolly Susan Edwards Quinn; sisters Susan Iris Quinn Thigpen, Lorraine Quinn Griffin, Betty Gould Quinn Rhodes; brothers James Elwood Quinn, Clifton Lee Quinn, Maurice Quinn, and Cecil Durwood Quinn.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her sons Michael Quinn Thomas and wife Sherri Anderson Thomas, Morris Jerome Thomas and wife Marie Thomas and three grandchildren.

Billy Randall Hall, age 77, died Saturday, June 14, 2025 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Sue Hall and sister Annie Mae Moore.
Mr. Hall is survived by his daughter, April Blizzard and husband Samuel Ashley Blizzard III of Hampstead; grandsons, Brody Garrett Vance and wife Casey Corley Vance of Cincinnati, OH, Brandon Chase Vance and wife Marissa Vance of Charleston, SC; granddaughters, Alecia Cox and husband Andrew of Fuquay Varina; Paxton Blizzard and fiancé Javari of Apex; Alex Britt and husband Jared of Albertson; great grandchildren, Evan Garrett Vance, Eva Rose Holshouser, Eliza McNair Cox, Drew Robeson Cox, Marsh Samuel Britt, baby girl Violet Vance due October; brother Julius Ray Hall and wife Glenda of Clayton; and numerous special nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
